Understanding Hinduphobia – A Primer

The Hindu Student Council at Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA, held a conference in May 2021, to discuss the pervasive phenomenon of Hindudvesha (Systemic Hinduphobia) in order to understand it and its consequences for Hindu Americans.   

Jeffery D. Long, professor of religion and Asian studies at Elizabethtown College, is a religious studies scholar who works on the religions and philosophies of India, particularly Hinduism and Jainism. In this video, Prof. Long provides his analysis of the various aspects of Hindophobia – what it is, its underlying structure as well as its history.
